About
The Venue: High on the hill, overlooking the Hawke's Bay is Peak House. Steeped in history with panoramic views, our venue is just five minutes drive from the Havelock North Village, yet feels like a world away.
Buy a Table Seating ticket and book your mealtime with hello@thepeakhouse.co.nz, their kitchen is open from 5pm so you can make a night of it, watching the sun go down before our stars come out on stage.
Or, buy a Show Only ticket and turn up from 7pm for the show starting at 7.30pm.
Our MC for October is Hawke’s Bays own CJ Alexander.
CJ Alexander is a multi award winning comedian. Unfortunately, none of the awards are remotely related to stand up comedy. He has performed in well over three venues, if you include practicing in his bedroom in front of his cat and his dog. His dog is a massive fan. His cat, not so much.
Our Headline performer is Ryan McGhee,
Ryan McGhee burst onto the NZ Comedy Scene in 2021. It’s been quite the journey so far! He has been on tour to 16 cities and towns across Aotearoa, written his debut comedy show (The Scottish Kiwi) and won “Best Newcomer, Lower North Island” at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards (2021). Ryan’s show “The Scottish Kiwi” debuted to a sold-out run at the NZ Fringe Festival in February 2022. It has since delighted audiences at the Dunedin and Sydney fringe festivals, with Whangārei Fringe coming up in October 2022.
