This vibrant Hawke’s Bay group brings you traditional acoustic music from all sides of the World, and new tunes inspired by it. Take some stunning music from Sweden, Moldova, Ireland and Brittany, sultry songs from Bulgaria, Serbia, Spain and Lebanon, mix it up with exuberant Klezmer, a sprinkle of cool Latin Cumbia and some stomping original tunes for good measure… that’s the Ish experience. Ish debuted in Fringe in The 'Stings 2020 to a wild and whooping crowd. They followed it with a stunning sold-out HB Arts Festival show in 2021 and came home to FiTS in 2022. The Ish whanau pools its talent from various musical paths and includes Dana Parkhill, Louise Ward, Phill Jones, Johnny Goodhind, Joe Dobson and Chris Beernink.
