Alba Rose And Friends: 'Silhouette' EP Release Tour

Celebrating Alba Rose’s four-track EP released on the 12th of November embracing the reflections of the past few years of life, expressed through the genres of soul, jazz, contemporary, indie-pop and neo-soul. With playful lyrics to welcome the warmer seasons performed with delicious double bass backbones, adventurous rhythmic dynamics and jazz infused keys and sax, Alba will be joined by her full band consisting of Rory Johns (keys), Elijah Mulheron (double bass), Rafe Swan (drums) and Tyaan Singh (sax).   

Joining Alba under the sun will be Hawkes Bays very own folk & indie trio the ‘Spooky Skeletons’ wiggling and giggling with the rocking sonics of banjo, harmonica, vocals, guitar and the double bass.  

Opening the afternoon amongst the hill side and lantern lit stage we welcome ‘Finn From Napier’ (previously recognised as Alexander Luck) performing an acoustic, stripped back set of his original music.  

Closing the night is Christchurch-based wahine on the rise ‘DJ Kravis’, performing a set of disco-house, funk infused beats to enjoy the as the golden hour sets.
